Terms of use
These terms tell you the basis on which you may use rabbli.com. Please read them before you use the site. They are a notice rather than a contract. There is nothing here to sign, and no account to open. They cover the website only. They are not the contract for any automation work we do. That work is governed by a separate written agreement, and nothing on this page changes it.
Who we are and how to reach us
rabbli.com is operated by RaBBLi Automations Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17337173. Our registered office is Great Tey Business Centre, Warrens Farm, Brook Road, Great Tey, Colchester, England, CO6 1JG. We trade as RaBBLi.
The way to contact us is by email at admin@rabbli.com. We also have a company page on LinkedIn.
What these terms do not cover
If we build or run automations for you, that work sits under a separate written agreement between us. Scope, fees, service levels, ownership of what we build, confidentiality, liability and how either side ends the arrangement are all dealt with there, not here.
The same goes for data protection. Where we handle personal data on behalf of a client, we act as a processor and the terms required by UK data protection law form part of that agreement. A website notice cannot do that job, and this one does not try to. Nothing on this page reduces our obligations under data protection law.
Our privacy policy explains what we do with personal data when you visit the site, and how our analytics work.
Using the site
The site is free to use. We do not promise it will always be available, or that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without telling you first.
You are responsible for the equipment and connection you use to reach the site. If other people use the site through your connection, please make sure they know about these terms.
Changes to the site and to these terms
We may update these terms, for example if the law changes, if the site changes, or if our business changes. The version published here is the one that applies to your use of the site from the moment it appears. The date at the foot of this page tells you when it last changed, so it is worth looking again from time to time.
Nothing here is advice, and nothing here is an offer
The site describes what we do in general terms. It is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice, and you should not act on it without getting advice that fits your situation.
Nothing on the site is an offer capable of being accepted, or a quotation. We take care over what we publish, but we do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or up to date.
Intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the material published on this site. Some of it belongs to other people. The typeface is served by Google Fonts under its own licence, and third party logos shown on the site, such as the LinkedIn logo, belong to their owners. Those rights are acknowledged and are not ours to give away.
RaBBLi and the RaBBLi logo are our trade marks.
You may:
- view any page of the site, and print or download one copy for your own reference
- quote a reasonable extract, provided you do not change it and you credit RaBBLi Automations Limited as the source
All other rights are reserved. In particular, we reserve our rights against text and data mining, and against the use of anything on this site to develop or train machine learning or generative AI models. If you want to use our material in some other way, ask us first.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape, mine, harvest or systematically extract content from the site, by any automated means
- collect the email address published here in order to send unsolicited marketing, or add it to a marketing list
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it sits on, or any connected system or network
- do anything that damages or is intended to damage the availability of the site, including a denial of service attack, or introduce any virus, trojan, worm or other malicious code
- frame, mirror or republish the site or a substantial part of it
- use the site or its content unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that impersonates us or suggests a connection with us that does not exist
- reverse engineer the site or get around any technical measure protecting it
Some of these acts are criminal offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report serious misuse to the police and, where relevant, give them your identity. We may also withdraw your right to use the site.
Linking to us, and links to other sites
You are welcome to link to any page on this site, provided you do it fairly and legally, you do not damage our reputation or take unfair advantage of it, and you do not suggest any approval or association that does not exist. Please do not frame the site inside another site, and please do not use our logo without asking. We may withdraw this permission at any time.
Where we link out, including to our LinkedIn page, we do so for information only. We have no control over those sites and we do not endorse them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and what happens to your data there is a matter between you and them.
Contacting us by email
The email link on this site is an invitation to get in touch. Sending us an enquiry does not create a contract, and neither does our reply. Any work we go on to do for you would be set out in a separate written agreement and signed.
The audit we offer is free, and asking for one puts neither of us under any obligation to go further.
Email is not a secure channel. Please do not send us confidential information, or sensitive personal data such as health or financial records, by email. We read everything that arrives but we do not guarantee a response time.
Complaints
If something on this site is wrong, or you think we have got something wrong, email admin@rabbli.com and tell us. We aim to reply within five working days. If we cannot resolve it that quickly we will tell you what is happening and when to expect an answer.
Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales
If you are using the site for business purposes, then so far as it is reasonable for us to do so, we exclude liability for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, and for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the site, your inability to use it, or your reliance on anything published on it.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything on this page.
We do not guarantee that the site is free of bugs or viruses. You should use your own virus protection software. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by a virus or a distributed denial of service attack that affects your equipment because you used this site.
Governing law and where disputes are heard
These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are using the site for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings either in England and Wales or in your own country of residence.
General
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to do so later. These terms are not intended to give rights to anyone other than you and us under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
